Come on in.
Accommodations
Our lodge is designed to be a place of conviviality and togetherness in a pristine mountain setting. Built in the “barndominium” style, the main area is an impressive 3,000 sq. ft. with 30-ft high wooden beams. Despite the large space, the layout includes several cozy areas for relaxing, entertaining and dining. The modern open kitchen has two islands and the centerpiece is a 12-ft handcrafted cedar table built by a local cabinet maker. On the main floor there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of which is the master bedroom with its ensuite bathroom. Upstairs there are 3 queen rooms, 1 double queen, 8 bunk beds and a spacious bathroom with a separate water closet. The exterior features a complete wrap around patio, a large grilling and dining area, a fire pit, greenhouse and covered parking.
A minimum 3 night stay is requested. To inquire about availability please contact us here.
Property
The idyllic setting surrounding the lodge is a true Montana paradise with 20 acres of pristine wilderness. A 5-minute walk south will lead you to the banks of the West Fork, a 22-mile tributary of Rock Creek, and a favorite for the local fly fishermen. A small bridge across the creek takes you to a secluded pond fed by a mountain spring. On your walk back to the lodge you will see an old-fashioned platform (or paddle) tennis court built by our grandfather in the 1970’s which is playable year-round. The lodge offers stunning views of the Custer Gallatin mountains where wildlife such as elk, moose and bear can be seen foraging in the upper pastures. The property borders the Silver Run trailhead, and is a 5-minute drive to Wild Bill Lake and a 10-minute drive to the Red Lodge Ski Area.

“I’m in love with Montana. For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition even some affection. But with Montana it is love. And it’s difficult to analyze love when you’re in it ”
